Miles Christy

Since 2003, Maggie and I have been to 31 countries in North America, Central America, Europe, and Asia (just Turkey). We've lived in our little house in Oakland since 1976.

Maggie and I met when she was in 4th grade and I was in 5th. Her father was my elementary school principal for two years. My father was on the school board that hired him. My mother was the PTA president. Later, my father was Maggie's boss when she worked for the Post Office. I talked her into going out with me when I was working there, too. The rest, as they say, is history.

Travel, Garden, Cook, enjoy Rock, Folk, and Jazz Concerts.

Prune and apple picking, Post Office, 37 years as a 2nd-4th grade teacher, mostly 3rd (grade of preference), and 5 years as a substitute teacher after I retired.

Turkey.

Favorite places: Paris, Istanbul, Tallinn, Berlin, Florence, Venice, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Geiranger Fjord, Kings Canyon-Sequoia, Yellowstone, Yosemite, and ANY baseball stadium.
Still to go: Any major league baseball stadium opened after July of 2000, the British Isles, Japan, China, Australia, and Victoria falls.

Hopefully, Maggie and I will still be alive and traveling to fun places together.
