I just learned of Glen's passing. The last time I 'spoke' to him was to wish him a 'Happy Birthday' last year.
One of my best memories of Glen was from Vietnam: he and I and another Vet were walking 'three abreast,' our 'jungle fatigues' covered in 'red clay' ready to meet another pal coming 'in country.'
What/who we met first was a 'Bird Colonel,' who proceeded to chew us out for not wearing 'covers' (hats or helmets.) Despite our respect for 'rank' our response was laughter and appropriate 'gestures!'
I will miss Glen.
