I first met Beverly in our 7th-grade English class (Mr. Calahan).  Beverly sat directly behind me in this class and  occasionally engaged me in conversation before the beginning of class.  Monday mornings, our conversation usually revolved around the previous Friday evening's SRHS football game.  Her older brother, Jerry (Class of 1960), was an outstanding athlete whose achievements were a frequent topic of the aforementioned games broadcast on KSRO.

During our high school years, Beverly and I did not share a lot of time, but her presence on campus was obvious including as a member of the ever popular Pantherettes.

Many years later, Beverly's brother Jerry was an occasional visitor to my home where he installed and maintained the water system of my home.  During one of these visits, he informed me of Beverly's untimely death.  Rest In Peace Beverly.    -MPL

My last visit was with Bev at our 30th (?) reunion at the Flamingo Hotel.  She said she had many health problems and she was very thin.  We were friends  more at SRJC than high school. I loved her letters she wrote to me from college.  Wish I still had them!  She was a kick!
