John Rowe is a big part of many of my high school memories. Loved to laugh and goof around. I remember he had pet names for many of his friends. He started to call John Howe "Pokey." Don't know how that got started. I remember he had a job in a bakery for a while, and had to get up at 3:00 AM. Sometimes he would fall asleep while we were goofing around at Bil Heacox's house. Kathy and I had Jon serve as an usher when we got married in '68. He looked great in a tux!
John Howe
A great SRHS friend! He always enjoyed "killing" my Morris Minor by putting his foot over the exhaust pipe.

I always enjoyed having Jon in my classes. Even had a crush on him in highschool for awhile. He was a nice guy! Was sad ro hear of his passing.
